It's been a while since our last post. I apologize for not updating the blog much lately, but things have been busy for all of us lately. I just got back from a hunting trip. I didn't get any pheasant, but got Dick Cheney in the keester. Oh well, consider it justice. Hopefully the news we have for you all is worth the wait!

Our next big show will be Saturday, October 10 at the Elbo Room in Chicago. It's a really cool place with a rock atmosphere. Be sure to check us out! We would be thrilled to see you there.

This upcoming show also holds a certain level of significance. For the first time, Jon will be picking up an e-leck-trick geetar to do some major riffage. It won't be on every track, but we believe it will give us a sound thicker than Kelly Clarkson while B-Boy is shredding.

Lastly, we will be playing a killer new track we've been working on since last May. Serious. It took a while to figure out all these parts, but we've put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this... well mostly tears. We watched an episode of Intervention a month ago and can't stop crying. We promise you will love this new tune, and if not, well... we simply don't care for you much anymore.

Elbo Room 10/10, new song and the addition of Jon on guitar. Be there!

Thanks to all of you who came out to our last couple of shows. We're really starting to build on our success, but can't do it without you! Which reminds me... if you dig our sound, be sure to tell your friends about us and spread the word.

We are adding shows on a regular basis so check often. Also, if you are on facebook, be sure to find our band and become a fan! Feel free to comment, message us or even offer a sensual shoulder rub at our next show... Hey, Innerfall believes in reciprocity, so if we really like you we'd definately return the favor!

Until next time, rock on!

What's up fellow e-stalkers?

It's been a busy week for Innerfall. I'd like to start by saying THANK YOU to all of you that came to our show at Penny Road Pub.  We are really thankful for your support. If you weren't at our last show, GET YOUR ASS IN GEAR and come see us at The Gasthaus in Elgin, IL on Saturday, June 27! And if you did see us on Friday, you can still come too. It should be a good one, and hopefully our singer's voice will be back to 100%.

Please check out our new pictures from Friday's show. We will try to add a number after each show. Feel free to print them out and create a shrine, or just carry them in your back pocket. Is it me, or do the photos of Jon appear especially tantalizing?

Lastly, we had our first interview with a rock publication located in Europe. Definitely some exciting stuff. We are starting to pick up some steam for the summer. Check soon for concert updates!

Forever Yours,

~Longshanks

P.S.  There has been some fall-out concerning my Rosie O'Donnell comments (you know who you are).  All I have to apologize for is the lack of foresight to make such disparaging remarks sooner.

Due to circumstances outside of our control, our May 30th show at Otto's in DeKalb has been cancelled. We apologize, but promise to rock at our next show (June 12 at Penny Road Pub).

We also have a few new songs we are working on and hope to play them for you all soon. We're really excited in the direction our band is headed and we think you'll agree!

Be sure to check out our demo if you haven't already. It is streaming on the Myspaces Interwebs, as well as available on iTunes or your local Aaron Becker distributor. Until
next time.

In light of our current economic recession, I would like to raise a certain national (global, even) issue that is rarely discussed. The American Rock recession. Seriously... turn on the radio and all you hear is rap and R&B. Or smooth jazz that reminds you how it feels to have your teeth drilled in a dentist office or the experience of being stuck in an elevator for four years. All these musical styles have their place (I am listening to Lady Gaga right now in fact), but what has happened to rock music? It is more extinct than the Tasmanian Tiger.

Does that mean there is nothing good out there? NOT AT ALL! Just as some fat cats are able to go about their lives normally and richly despite our current stock market plunges, so too are good rock bands out there even in these harsh musical times. But we must rebuild the community of rock that was prevalent throughout the last three decades (and yes, we CAN count 80s hair metal as real music).

How can YOU help, you say? For starters, take a listen to our NEW DEMO CD, or even ask us for a copy if you're in our hood. Even more, you can plan to attend one of our UPCOMING SHOWS (on our shows page). Either way, keep on rocking. We know we will!

What's up all?

First and Foremost, we would like to say "thank you" to everyone who came to our show on Saturday! We were definitely excited about it and devoured your energy like Rosie O'Donnell on a Ding Dong. We've come a long way, and Saturday night was certainly a step in the right direction. We aren't going to step there… we hope to improve every show, every week and every day to give you guys a listening experience more memorable than the shrieks of a Las Vegas magician getting mauled by an exotic tiger.

For those of you enjoying our free 3-song demo: good news! If my eight ball is correct (the kind you buy at Toys R Us silly!), it looks like we will be pressing our songs to create a real demo CD, with a sleeve and everything. For those of our fans that prefer sleeveless (and Brandon doesn't blame you… check out the slim jim picture),
I'm sorry!

Please stay posted for more news and songs. Spread the word among your friends and even place our song in your profile while you are at it. Comments are always welcome too! Until next time…
